I am always curious and traveling feeds my soul. If I have to be home, I am curled up with a cup of tea, a great book and a bite of chocolate, or exploring with my camera strapped around my neck. I love to talk and look forward to sharing my travels, favorite books and photography with you in hopes of inspiring you to get out and travel, read something different or grab your camera and capture the world around you.

Travel is my therapy
If given the chance to travel always take it. In my previous life, I worked as a travel consultant and have planned many trips in my career.
I am curious and love to find great places to eat, meet the locals, experience different cultures and explore new places around the world, the United States, my local Southern California area or something just around the corner.
Recently, I have been traveling to research our ancestry and it's been a rewarding adventure. I look forward to sharing tips and travels in hopes of inspiring you to go.
Books take you to new places
Being an avid reader, I can be found buried in a great book often. Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.
On the blog, I share some of my favorite books that I hope you will like or simply inspire you to read a book in a new genre and step out of your comfort zone.

Photography captures small moments in time and life
I'd rather be behind the camera than in front of it. Like the words in a book transport you to another place and time, a photograph captures small and special moments in time, tell a story and evoke deep emotions.
With my photography, I love to photograph my travels, the beauty of nature, classic cars and the small details hidden in our world. When you need a quiet moment, I hope you will jump over to my gallery and get lost in the photos.
